Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with diverse conditions including trauma, stroke, cardiac emergencies, and more
Assess, plan, and implement care in a fast-paced Level 3 Trauma Center
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize care based on acuity (1:4-5 ratios)
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively using EPIC charting system
Perform point of care lab testing and interpret telemetry strips

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
Current certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
Proficiency with EPIC charting system

Knowledge & Skills

Ability to manage multiple high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to float within a 60-mile zone if needed
