Shift Type: Evening shifts, 8-hour shifts (12:30 PM - 9:00 PM or 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM), 40 hours per week

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform secondary verification for hazardous medications to ensure patient safety
Process TPN medications with precision and care
Conduct product preparation verification for both non-hazardous and hazardous compounds
Compound non-sterile hazardous and non-hazardous medications following strict protocols
Ensure all regulatory requirements are completed and tracked in MedKeeper, including daily cleans

Qualifications

At least 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience
Active Pharmacist license in Texas or compact privilege
BLS certification required
EPIC experience preferred but not required
Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC and MedKeeper systems
Expertise in sterile compounding and hazardous drug handling
Understanding of regulatory requirements in a hospital pharmacy
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
