Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team
- Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics to prevent injury
- Maintain clear, professional documentation and report observations promptly
- Collaborate with nurses and care staff to ensure a smooth patient experience
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Valid state nursing assistant credential or registry listing
- Current basic life support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or required per facility
- Willingness to complete background check and required immunizations
- Reliable, professional demeanor with good communication and teamwork skills
Education
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled at assisting with ADLs and personal care in a respectful manner
- Comfortable taking vital signs and observing/reporting patient changes
- Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team
- Time management skills to prioritize patient needs during assigned shift
