Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned patients with professionalism and empathy
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing interventions using best-practice standards
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, documenting according to policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure continuity
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and uphold patient confidentiality

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (ability to practice in California preferred)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred where applicable
• Previous clinical nursing experience in acute care or relevant specialty preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a patient-first attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals, medication administration and clinical documentation
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
• Ability to prioritize care in a fast-paced environment and respond to urgent situations
• Skilled in patient education, discharge planning and care coordination
• Culturally sensitive care and strong interpersonal skills
