Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full Time PM Shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM), Every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Communicate timely updates to physicians and families about significant changes in resident condition
Complete comprehensive resident assessments to ensure personalized care
Administer medications accurately while following the 5 Rights of medication safety
Perform wound care and assessments to promote healing and comfort
Support CNAs by answering call lights and assisting with resident needs
Monitor residents closely for any changes in condition and respond promptly
Lead the floor by assessing situations and directing care as needed
Report any concerns about abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to leadership
Maintain accurate and thorough resident records with detailed charting

Qualifications

Active Wisconsin Registered Nursing license required
Current CPR/BLS certification required
1+ years of related work experience preferred
Two-year degree in nursing required, four-year degree preferred
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail

Education

Two-year degree in nursing required
Four-year degree in nursing preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Registered Nursing expertise in long-term care settings
Wound care assessment and treatment
Safe medication administration practices
Resident assessment and care planning
Strong communication and leadership on the floor
