Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Red Rocks Care Center
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately during your shift
Assess residents’ conditions and communicate changes promptly to the care team
Document care, observations, and resident progress clearly in the medical record
Collaborate with nursing colleagues and interdisciplinary staff to create person-centered plans
Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — active license required
Available for Monday–Friday day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) as part of a local block schedule
Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and providing direct resident care
Able to commute to Gallup, NM (local-only position)

Education

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) diploma or certificate

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical judgment in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Experience with resident assessments and care planning
Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and care teams
Reliable documentation skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced long-term care environment
