Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, including medication administration and wound care
Monitor patient condition and report significant changes to the care team
Document assessments and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver coordinated care
Support patient and family education with clear, patient-centered communication
Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers as needed

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Local candidates only, able to commute to the facility
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-focused environment

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational clinical skills including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care
Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate charting
Strong observation and documentation skills
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Compassionate patient interaction and family communication
