Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered telemetry nursing care overnight
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and quickly identify changes in rhythm
• Administer medications and treatments safely and timely as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Document accurate assessments and interventions in the patient record
• Respond to emergencies and assist in rapid interventions when needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required
• Telemetry nursing experience preferred; comfortable with cardiac monitoring
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong familiarity with cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring
• Proficient in patient assessment and clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize care and respond effectively in urgent situations
• Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts
• Good communication skills for handoffs and interdisciplinary collaboration
