Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and invasive CT imaging, including trauma, stroke, cardiac, neuro, MSK, body, and pediatric studies
• Operate CT equipment (GE Optima, GE EVO, GE Revolution) and Medrad injectors safely and effectively
• Collaborate closely with ED and stroke teams to prioritize and execute urgent imaging needs
• Obtain IV access and perform venipuncture when required, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records in Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols while delivering high-quality patient care
• Participate in shift handoffs, assist colleagues, and support unit workflow during busy periods

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CT imaging experience (as indicated)
• Skills in both diagnostic and invasive CT procedures; experience with ED trauma and stroke imaging required
• Familiarity with Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS strongly preferred
• Experience with GE CT platforms and Medrad injectors is a plus
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT imaging techniques (diagnostic, invasive)
• Strong trauma and stroke imaging experience
• Cardiac and pediatric imaging knowledge
• IV placement and venipuncture skills
• Experience with Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS documentation
• Comfortable operating GE Optima, GE EVO, and GE Revolution systems
• Competent using Medrad injectors and contrast administration protocols
• Team collaboration, communication, and patient-centered care focus
