Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with nurses and providers
• Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection-control protocols
• Collaborate with team members to ensure continuity of care during overnight shifts

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Valid state authorization to practice as a CNA in California
• Comfortable working 12-hour overnight shifts and handling typical CNA duties
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a caring attitude
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Immunizations and background checks as required by facility policy

Education

• Current CNA certification (required)
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and safety procedures
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
• Good time-management skills for overnight workflows
• Empathy, patience, and strong teamwork abilities
• Basic documentation/charting skills
