Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition to deliver compassionate, individualized care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Document patient care and progress clearly and timely in the medical record
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and independence
• Participate in shift handoffs and communicate changes in patient status effectively

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico required (LPN applicants may be considered where applicable)
• Current BLS/CPR certification required; advanced certifications encouraged
• Previous experience in rehabilitation or acute care is preferred
• Demonstrated clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a team-first attitude
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and documentation skills
• Medication administration and basic wound care knowledge
• Familiarity with care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and standard clinical equipment
• Ability to manage time across a busy 12-hour shift while prioritizing patient safety
