Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for patients across various age groups
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication, swallowing, and cognitive disorders
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
Provide education and training to patients and their families on speech therapy techniques
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Float to Mercy Medical Center Redding when required

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in California
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an SLP
Ability to float to Mercy Medical Center Redding as needed

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of speech therapy evaluation and treatment methods
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
