Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a medical/telemetry unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret strips, and titrate drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, and more
Manage patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions, PCU-level overflow, and respiratory issues
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality care
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and families

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum PCU/telemetry experience preferred; first-time travelers welcome
Ability to titrate cardiac drips and interpret telemetry strips
Epic experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac drip titration and telemetry interpretation
PCU-level patient care and assessment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to fast-paced, high-acuity environment
