Location: Centennial, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes weekends and holidays as scheduled. Schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to PCU/IMC patients, including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and post-surgical cases
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area) to fill staffing gaps
Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin as needed
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
Adapt quickly to different units and patient populations, maintaining flexibility in assignments

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado (compact license accepted)
Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Experience with cardiac drips, insulin, and ativan
Comfortable floating to various units and facilities within a 60-mile radius

Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in Epic EMR preferred
Ability to manage a 1:3-4 patient ratio with varying acuity
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
