Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (with on-call rotation: one week at a time, Mon-Fri 5:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Sat-Sun 6:30 AM - 6:30 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI scans using Siemens Avanto 1.5T equipment
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver accurate diagnoses
Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment for optimal performance
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses as needed (16 minutes apart)

Qualifications

Active Texas state license (required)
Experience with Siemens Avanto MRI system (preferred)
Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and float between campuses
Ability to respond to call within 1 hour (30 minutes travel, 30 minutes to prep patient)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in MRI imaging techniques and safety
Proficiency with Siemens Avanto MRI equipment
Strong patient care and communication skills
Understanding of anatomy and pathology for accurate scanning
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
