Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert cardiac and telemetry monitoring for a diverse patient population
Interpret cardiac strips and titrate drips like Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and more
Care for patients with acute and chronic conditions including cardiac caths, EP studies, and sepsis
Collaborate with a dedicated team in a 32-bed unit with a supportive charge nurse
Float to PCU and MS units as needed, using your skills where they matter most

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
Minimum 1 year of PCU or telemetry experience
Proven ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
EPIC experience preferred but not required - first-time travelers welcome!

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry and cardiac care expertise
Titration of cardiac drips (Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, etc.)
Strong assessment skills for adult and geriatric patients
Comfortable with Bipap, trachs, and high-flow oxygen
Team player with excellent communication
