Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
Position patients accurately for treatment delivery
Monitor patients during treatment for adverse reactions
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
Collaborate with the radiation oncology team to ensure quality patient care
Perform daily equipment quality checks and calibrations

Qualifications

Active state licensure as a Radiation Therapist in Nebraska
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
Completion of an accredited radiation therapy program
BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in radiation therapy techniques and equipment
Strong patient communication and empathy skills
Attention to detail and precision in treatment delivery
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
