Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat a diverse caseload including ortho, neuro, and wound care patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility and independence
Collaborate with a supportive therapy team and nursing staff for coordinated care
Precept new staff as needed and contribute to a positive unit culture
Document patient progress accurately and timely

Qualifications

Active Texas Physical Therapy license in hand
BLS certification required
Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
Wound care experience is a plus but not required
Comfortable treating a range of diagnoses: fractures, ortho injuries, neuro conditions, and general debility

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills
Ability to adapt to both acute inpatient and outpatient rehab environments
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with wound vac and wound care protocols desired
Patient-centered approach with a focus on functional outcomes
