Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, variable days including weekends (6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week cycle)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a 12-bed LDRP unit
Perform triage assessments and manage acute obstetric emergencies
Circulate and recover C-sections in the dedicated OR suite
Monitor and manage labor inductions and augmentations with Pitocin and magnesium sulfate
Educate and support new parents during the postpartum period
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe deliveries and positive outcomes

Qualifications

At least 1 year of recent LDRP experience within the last 3 years
Current BLS certification required
AWHONN intermediate/advanced or C-EFM certification required
NRP certification required
Must be comfortable with triage, circulating, and recovering C-sections
Prior travel experience is preferred

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing skills including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
Triage experience
Comfortable with Pitocin and magnesium sulfate drips
Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling and unit needs
