Nurse Manager - Cath Lab and ICU

Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (elective cases), plus 24/7 on-call rotation including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee nursing operations for both the Cath Lab and ICU departments
Lead and mentor nursing staff to enhance clinical competency and build a positive culture
Perform pre-procedure and recovery care, bedside procedure support, and moderate sedation
Ensure quality patient care and adherence to safety protocols
Collaborate with unit manager and CNO to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

1 year of management experience required
3 years of RN experience required
1 year of clinical leadership experience required
Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, CRRT competency

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in critical care, telemetry, and cardiac nursing
Experience with fluoro license for technical staff
Proficiency in titration of vasoactive drugs, heparin, and sedation
Leadership, communication, and team-building abilities
Understanding of Cath Lab and ICU workflows and patient populations
