Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate basic nursing care to patients with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the care team
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics when assisting patients
• Document patient interactions and care provided clearly and accurately
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to support individualized care plans
• Maintain infection control standards and follow facility policies

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (state-registered) — must be valid for practice
• Active CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to shift
• Comfortable working day shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred but new grads with certification are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with basic patient care procedures and ADLs
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
