Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and basic mobility needs
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful patient environment
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team about patient needs
Follow facility policies, infection control practices, and documentation standards

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in California (required)
Current BLS (CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to work a 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) on the scheduled date
Successful background check and required immunizations/TB screening
Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and working as part of a team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing care and patient hygiene
Reliable vitals measurement and documentation
Safe patient transfer and mobility assistance
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Attention to infection control and safety procedures
