Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patients
• Rapidly assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced ER
• Administer medications and treatments precisely and safely
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary teams to execute effective care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and professionally
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
• Respond to emergencies and assist with procedures as needed to stabilize patients

Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in California
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Previous Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
• Strong triage, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with calm and professionalism

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in emergency assessment and stabilization techniques
• Skilled in IV therapy, wound care, and medication administration
• Knowledge of ED workflows, triage systems, and documentation standards
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Comfortable with high-acuity patient care and rapid decision-making
