Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and care
• Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Monitor patient vitals and respond quickly to changes during procedures
• Maintain and operate cath lab equipment, performing quality checks and troubleshooting
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and providing reassurance
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 coverage for emergent cases

Qualifications

• Certified or registry-eligible as a Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS) or similar
• Current BLS certification (required)
• State licensure as required by Ohio (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience preferred
• Ability to float between facilities and adapt to different team environments
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in sterile technique and cath lab protocols
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and common pathologies
• Skilled in using imaging equipment and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Ability to read and interpret EKG rhythms and pressure waveforms
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and documentation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
