Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Flexible 36-hour work week; schedule discussed upon offer

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 - $38.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement individualized treatment plans developed by supervising Physical Therapists
Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
Track patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising therapist
Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the rehab team for top-notch care
Maintain accurate documentation in line with facility and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Illinois
Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
Current CPR/BLS certification
SNF experience preferred but not required
Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care

Education

Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques
Patient care and interpersonal communication
Clinical assessment and documentation
Team collaboration and problem-solving
