Location: Quincy, Illinois

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 - $38.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve strength, coordination, fine motor skills, and functional performance
Assist patients with therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and the use of assistive devices
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to maximize independence
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License
Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current CPR/BLS Certification (if required by the clinic)
Outpatient experience preferred but not required
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Education

Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
Adaptive techniques and assistive devices
Patient progress monitoring and communication
Home exercise program education
Collaboration with rehabilitation team
Documentation compliance
