Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including cleanings, examinations, and patient education
Assess patients' oral health and document findings accurately
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Collaborate with dentists and staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment following infection control protocols

Qualifications

Active Dental Hygiene license in the state of Maryland
Current CPR certification
Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and patient interaction skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
Knowledge of oral health assessment and treatment planning
Familiarity with dental software and digital radiography
Patient-centered approach with a focus on comfort and education
