Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Evening shifts, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 36 hours per week. Schedule may vary.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care in the Women's Emergency Room and LDR unit
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with ANA standards
Support labor and delivery patients while also handling emergency women's health cases
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR system
Assist with patient lifting, transfers, and transport as needed

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Rhode Island required
Labor, Delivery & Recovery (LDR) experience required
Willingness to work in a Women's Emergency Room setting
EPIC proficiency required
Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Certification, and NRP required
Ability to assist with physical patient handling and transport

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
Knowledge of evidence-based practices in LDR and emergency care
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic environment
