Respiratory Therapist - Nights
Location: Chicago, IL
Start Date: 07-20-2026
End Date: 10-18-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, every other weekend and holiday, flexible scheduling. Specific shift times not provided.
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional respiratory care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with protocols
- Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and equipment
Qualifications
- Active Respiratory Therapist license in Illinois
- BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in respiratory therapy procedures and equipment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and priorities
