Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, every other weekend (Friday and Saturday)

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float between MedSurg Tele and PCU units, providing top-notch care to a diverse patient population
Manage cardiac patients including those post-cardiac catheterization, ensuring smooth recovery and monitoring
Utilize your telemetry skills to interpret rhythms and respond quickly to changes
Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
Adapt quickly to different unit environments, showcasing your versatility and expertise

Qualifications

2+ years of recent MedSurg Tele and PCU experience - you're a seasoned pro
2+ years of cardiac experience, including caring for cardiac patients and assisting with cardiac caths
Active BLS and ACLS certifications (must already hold them, not just willing to obtain)
EPIC proficiency required - hit the ground running
Compact or Rhode Island nursing license (compact state - yours may work!)
Willingness to float between units and take every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Deep understanding of cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring
Proficiency with EPIC EMR for seamless charting
Strong pharmacology knowledge for safe medication administration
Excellent floating skills - you can jump into any unit and make a difference
