Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide thorough dental cleanings and periodontal care
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
Collaborate with dentists to ensure comprehensive treatment

Qualifications

Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license in good standing
CPR certification (BLS) from AHA or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
Comfortable using digital radiography and EHR systems

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expert in scaling, root planing, and prophylaxis
Knowledge of infection control protocols
Strong patient communication and education skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
