Location: Springfield, Illinois

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time, 36-hour work week, day shift (Monday-Friday)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 - $38.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement personalized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility and independence
Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve strength, balance, and endurance
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments in collaboration with the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and safety precautions
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to deliver comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure compliance and continuity of care

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Illinois
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current CPR/BLS certification
Outpatient experience preferred but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of physical therapy interventions and modalities
Patient care and documentation skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team
CPR/BLS certified
