Location: Mason City, Iowa

Start Date: 07-27-2026

End Date: 10-25-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to orthopedics patients, supporting their recovery and mobility
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Monitor patient progress and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
Educate patients and families on post-surgery care and rehabilitation plans
Maintain accurate medical records and uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state
BLS certification (AHA) required
NIHSS certification required
Previous orthopedics or med-surg experience preferred
Compassionate, detail-oriented, and ready to hit the ground running

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Knowledge of orthopedics patient care protocols
