Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments to keep patients smiling
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience
- Maintain accurate patient records and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Dental Hygiene license required
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
- Knowledge of dental software and record-keeping
- Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
