Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
• Support residents during meals and hydration, promoting independence
• Document care provided accurately in electronic health records
• Collaborate with the care team to create a positive living environment
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Qualifications

• Active LNA license in Vermont or New Hampshire (compact accepted)
• Minimum 6 months of recent LNA experience in a long-term care setting
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Must have reliable transportation (limited public transit in the area)
• Ability to work every other weekend as scheduled
• COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents and families
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using electronic medical records and basic computer skills
• Understanding of elderly care best practices and safety protocols
• Team player who works well under supervision and independently
