Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 - $54.6 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on functional needs and goals
Provide evidence-based interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and overall function
Implement therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education techniques as appropriate
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Virginia
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Outpatient experience preferred but not required
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient evaluation and treatment planning
Therapeutic exercise and manual therapy techniques
Neuromuscular re-education and patient education
Documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
