Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments, including vesicant chemotherapy, following ONS guidelines
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage symptoms
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and side effects
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of Michigan or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
Completion of ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course preferred
At least 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
Ability to administer vesicant chemotherapy (ONS course completion required)

Knowledge & Skills

Progressive care nursing skills
Chemotherapy administration knowledge
Oncology patient care experience
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
