Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours/week, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced LDRP setting
Manage all stages of labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, intervene as needed
Educate new mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and recovery
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the healthcare team to ensure safe outcomes
Float to postpartum assignments when needed - versatility is key!

Qualifications

Active RN license in Illinois or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience required
Ability to handle high-acuity situations with confidence and compassion
Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in fetal monitoring and interpretation
Skilled in postpartum assessment and newborn resuscitation
Strong communication and patient education abilities
Comfortable using electronic medical records
