Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating days including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Monitor and interpret telemetry and vital signs, responding to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with hospital policies

Qualifications

Current RN license in Michigan
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience preferred
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Knowledge of PCU/step-down level of care
Effective prioritization and multitasking skills
Compassionate patient-centered approach
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
