Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Start Date: 07-27-2026

End Date: 10-25-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, typically 3 shifts per week including weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to progressive care unit patients
Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring telemetry
Administer medications, including chemotherapy, with precision and safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and disease management
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of Michigan or compact license
At least 1 year of recent PCU or step-down experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
Oncology experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and vesicant management
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
