Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced life support interventions
Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery goals
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa (or compact state) - we'll help with licensing
Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
At least 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care monitoring and life support equipment
Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and lab values
Ability to manage complex patient cases in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
