Shift Type: Rotating shifts (7 on / 7 off): Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Position works day, evening and night rotations and includes weekends and holidays (rotational schedule).

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy and medication management services across the main campus and satellite clinics
• Deliver direct patient care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology and obstetric patients
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff including Advanced Practice Pharmacists, Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Assistants and Billers
• Serve as Clinic Manager of Operations at designated clinics and oversee policy and procedure administration
• Develop and analyze clinical pharmacy programs to ensure the highest quality of care
• Coordinate inpatient and outpatient clinical pharmacy services and specialized pharmacy-based clinics
• Ensure pharmacy operations meet accreditation and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-recognized school
• Current, valid and unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in a U.S. state, territory, or D.C.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Pharmacist
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Clinical Pharmacist
• Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start
• Willingness to work rotational day/evening/night shifts, weekends and holidays

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) OR Bachelor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical pharmacy and inpatient medication management skills
• Experience with pharmacy operations, staff supervision and clinic management
• Comfort working with neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, oncology and obstetric populations
• Familiarity with JCAHO standards and accreditation processes
• Ability to design, implement and analyze clinical pharmacy programs
• Effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Knowledge of pharmacy billing and policy administration
