Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any concerning changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and positioning to maintain comfort and prevent injury
• Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control practices
• Document care accurately and timely in patient records

Qualifications

• Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification in the state of California
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to work overnight shifts and remain attentive during long hours
• Professional, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
• Willingness to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
• Previous experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar setting is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and bedside assistance skills
• Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and safety protocols
• Ability to observe and report subtle changes in patient condition
• Comfortable with charting and following care plans
• Teamwork mindset and ability to collaborate with nursing staff
• Time management skills for efficient, compassionate care delivery
