Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 05-25-2026

End Date: 08-24-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third weekend for days and every other weekend for nights

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory care across all patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry procedures
Cover inpatient areas throughout the hospital in the RT capacity
Collaborate closely with providers, nursing staff, and fellow therapists
Manage ventilators including Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion systems
Operate BiPAP equipment such as Vision, V60, V30, and Respironics S/T
Deliver high-flow therapy using Airvo2 systems
Adapt to varying patient care needs with flexibility and strong time management

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP and PALS preferred
Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside the 50-mile radius from facility
No current employment with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Strong time management and organizational abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Willingness to learn and grow professionally
Experience with adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
