Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 05-27-2026

End Date: 08-26-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM shifts, one weekend every third weekend with Monday and Friday off

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy care to 12+ patients daily across medical-surgical, ICU, and ER units
Develop personalized treatment plans for diverse patient populations including post-surgical, neurological, and general medical cases
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and functional outcomes
Document patient progress and adjust interventions to maximize rehabilitation success
Mentor and guide patients through their recovery journey with compassion and expertise

Qualifications

Current California PT license required
BLS certification required
Acute Inpatient PT experience required
Strong clinical skills in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in treating TKA, THA, spinal surgery, CVA, and general orthopedic patients
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced acute care settings
Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Flexibility to adapt to varying unit demands
