Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (Saturday-Sunday days, Friday-Saturday nights), holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring their safety and comfort
Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips to support optimal patient outcomes
Monitor fetal heart patterns using intermediate or advanced skills and respond promptly to changes
Collaborate with a friendly, feedback-driven leadership team dedicated to quality care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience preferred; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in C-sections
No first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP experience with ability to function across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Intermediate or advanced fetal heart monitoring
Titration of Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips
Centricity perinatal EFM system familiarity
Ability to transition newborns and attend low-risk deliveries
