Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, and respiratory conditions
• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms to ensure patient safety
• Administer and titrate cardiac medications including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
• Manage arterial lines and provide expert care for patients requiring advanced monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences
• Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
• Educate patients and families about medications and treatment plans with clarity and empathy

Qualifications

• Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Competency in arterial line management and cardiac drip titration
• Strong telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts including weekends and holidays
• Minimum 90% score on skills exam during orientation
• Valid driver's license required at time of submission
