Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed Progressive Care Unit
Titrate cardiac and critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while managing arterial lines and advanced respiratory support
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient experiences and outcomes
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
Champion patient education, medication communication, and responsiveness scores

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Competency managing arterial lines and titratable drips
Minimum one year of recent PCU, cardiac, or telemetry experience preferred
Must hold a valid driver's license at time of submission
Open-book skills exam (90% passing score) completed during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac telemetry interpretation and drip management
Comfort with high-flow oxygen, portable lifts, and vein finders
Excellent communication and adaptability across diverse patient populations
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to accept feedback and grow
