Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac, nephrology, and stroke care to adult and geriatric patients
Manage diabetes care and perform continuous EEG monitoring with attention to detail
Titrate cardiac and seizure medications while monitoring patient response closely
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to deliver excellent care ratios of 1:4-5
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed while maintaining high standards
Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills in our fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of progressive care or telemetry experience preferred
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Ability to pass skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Willingness to work every other weekend and holiday rotation every third

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac care and drip titration expertise
Nephrology and stroke patient management
Diabetes monitoring and seizure medication administration
Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
Positive attitude with commitment to helping team members succeed
