Location: Canon City, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, self-scheduling with balanced schedule provided to manager, 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule, rotating holidays, call required per census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Monitor fetal heart rates and titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
Collaborate with a close-knit team to ensure safe deliveries and positive birth experiences
Respond to call shifts and float within Zone 1 when census allows to support sister departments
Maintain accurate documentation using the OBIX EFM system and follow AWHONN guidelines

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications required
LDRP experience with comfort managing titratable drips
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips independently

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP clinical skills and fetal monitoring expertise
Comfort with high-BMI, diabetic, and substance-use patient populations
Ability to work collaboratively in a small, self-scheduling team environment
Flexibility to float within Zone 1 when needed
